Yes, these transmissions are used, but they aren't your average transmission you pull from the junkyard and take a chance on. Transmission inspection begins right before the transmission is pulled. Each transmission is cleaned thoroughly on the outside and inside with Simple Green products. Internally, the synchros are checked to ensure there are no burs that may cause hard or impossible shifting. In addition, the differential is inspected for possible pin movement. Before the transmission is sealed back up, the differential pin is welded and the pick-up magnet is also cleaned, giving you a "like-new" start on a used transmission. In the final steps, the transmission is sealed with RTV and tested to make sure the transmission shifts and the differential spins accordingly.

This transmission bolts up to any 1.9L 91 - 02 SOHC/DOHC engine. In the earlier years (1991), a different style mounting system was used in which only the 1991 transmissions would mount up to the 1991 chasis. It is recommended that this transmission is not purchased to mate with a 1991 chasis.

Included is only the transmission. Accessories such as the clutch fork, throw-out bearing, transmission mount bracket, coil packs, etc. are NOT included.
